Obituary of James J. Rohland

Hilton:  James J. Rohland passed away peacefully on March 16, 2018 at the age of 88.  He was predeceased by his parents, Henry & Mary (Hommel) Rohland; his brothers, David & Ronald Rohland; and his sister, Connie Stuhlmiller.  He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Grace (Smith) Rohland; his brother-in-Law, John (Wendy) Smith; his children, Robert (Jean)  Rohland, Barbara (Dale) Provost & Jan (David) Peckham; his grandchildren, Scott (Christine) Provost, Matthew Provost, Tracy (Grant) Jardine, Lisa (Josh) LaGoy & Jessica (Adam) Flake; his great-grandchildren, Michael & Mikayla Provost, Landon & Joseph Provost, Isabella & Emma LaGoy, Eric DiStefano, Brittany Mundorff and Carly Jardine; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jim was a 1986 retiree of Eastman Kodak, having worked in the Roll Coating division for many years.  He was a member of the Kendall Lions Club as well as a Kendall fireman.  He was a former member of the Gaines Carlton Community Church, the Greece Baptist Church and currently a member of the Hilton Baptist Church.  Jim was an avid sports fan, particularly enjoying baseball and golf.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 7th at 1 PM at Hilton Baptist Church. Interment will be held in Transit Cemetery in Albion at the convenience of the family.
