Obituary of William P. Hobson

Hilton - William "Bill" Hobson passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at the age of 91. Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife of 64 years, Mary Jane Hobson (2013); & his brother, Ernest Hobson.  He is survived by his children, Bill (Stacy) Hobson, Jack Hobson, Beth (Keith) Nichol and Judy (Fred) Paye; his grandchildren, Shaynna Hobson, Michele Rast , Jennifer (Russ) Conjerti, Melanie Kelsey, Heather (Matt) Short, Karen (Matthew) Cosgrove, Lindsay (Brett) Moreland and Nicholas (Brittany) Gallipeau; his 9 great-grandchildren, Samantha, Jacob, Anna, Amanda, Emma, Evander, Haiden, Lexi and Magdelina; his 1 great-great-granddaughter, Ashlynn; his sisters, Ann Schalm & Grace Adelmann; nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Bill was a proud member of the CWA1170 Union and employed by Rochester Telephone for 25 years.  He enjoyed reading, golfing, crossword puzzles, and his Genny beer.

Friends are invited to call Monday, February 10th from 4 - 7 PM at the THOMAS E. BURGER FUNERAL HOME in Hilton.  Bill's Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, February 11th at 10 AM at St. Leo the Great Church in Hilton.

Interment will be held in Parma Union Cemetery.
