Obituary of Marilyn J. Maier

Hilton - Marilyn J. Maier passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen Maier (2005); her infant son, Bruce; her parents, Wilbert & Emeline Seaman; and her sister, Sandy Whipple.  

She is survived by her children, Karla (Tom) Hare, Robin (Peter) Alexanderson, Wayne Burchfield, Daryl Burchfield and Allen (Joanne) Burchfield; her brother, Jerry (Joyce) Seaman; her sister, Charlotte (Leslie) Heagney; her brother-in-law, Eugene (Betty) Whipple; her sister-in-law, Sue Maier; her 12 grandchildren, Scott (Shelly) Hare, Amy (Jorge) Soto, Lee Alexanderson, Andrew Alexanderson, Dan Reamer, Trisha Moyer, Casey and Caitlin Burchfield, Tyler (Angelka) Burchfield, Chelsea (Shawn) Enos, Zachery Burchfield, Cortney McAfee; her 15 great-grandchildren, Hayden Hare, Hayley Hare, Jessica Soto, Jorge Soto, Areana Soto, Lily Alexanderson, Sierra Alexanderson, Brayde & Tristyn Moyer, Lydia Burchfield, Evelyn, Zephyr & Simon Burchfield, Brayden & Anthony McAfee; and many nieces and nephews. 

Marilyn was a Home Health Aide with Genesee Region Home Care for 20 years.

Friends and family may call Wednesday, July 15th from 9 - 11 AM at the THOMAS E. BURGER FUNERAL HOME in Hilton where her Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 AM. Visitors are requested to follow CDC guidelines.

Interment will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, New York at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, July 15th.
