Obituary of Edward Rudolph Klaver
Hilton - Edward R. Klaver passed away on November 29, 2020 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by his wife, Pauline (2018) and his brothers, Otto, John and Kenneth Klaver. He is survived by his children, Ellen L. (Bruce) Fisher, Daniel (Claudia) Klaver and Donald J. (Margaret) Klaver; his grandchildren, Rachel (Kevin) Fox, Lyndsey (Brian) McGrath, Josh, Caleb, Hannah, Isabella & Victoria Klaver; his great-grandson, Connor; his sister, Alice Baker; his sisters-in-law, Ruth Klaver, Nadine Klaver, Geraldine Ingham,Theresa (Raymond) Veness & Nancy Toal; his brother-in-law, Jack (Doris) Toal; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Edward's love of country called him to serve in the Army, 82nd Airborne Division and in the US Coast Guard Reserves. He also took his civic duty to heart and was a Constable in the Parma Special Police Department and later elected a Justice of the Peace for the Town of Parma.
Ed always held a strong love of music and took up learning to play the organ. He and Pauline regularly attended concerts of the Rochester Theatre Organ Society. Most recently he began playing the harmonica for his friends and staff at Creekstone Assisted Living and Memory Care.
Friends are invited to his Graveside Service on Friday, December 4th at noon at Parma Union Cemetery.
