Obituary of Wayne E. Gary

Hilton - Wayne E. Gary passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 92. He was predeceased by his wife, Dolores in 2003. He is survived by his children, Michelle (Kevin) Gloff, Ronald (Janeen) Gary, and Greg Gary; his grandchildren, Ryan & Jeffrey Gloff, Bethany (Kyle) Flow, and Tiffany Gary, Amy (Chris) Quartieri and Tammy (Jim) Fleming; his great-grandchildren, Leah, Troy, Bridget and Aubrey. He was predeceased by his brothers, Raymond, Donald, Richard and Roland Gary and his sister, Audrey Hayes. 

Wayne was a Veteran and proudly served in the United States Air Force during World War II. He retired from Eastman Kodak Company, and in his leisure, enjoyed camping. He belonged to a Camping Association, and started out tenting and ended up with a motorhome. He loved to ride his bike and to go camping and boating on Conesus Lake. He also enjoyed golfing and social gatherings in the Hilton Community Center. He loved to travel, especially to Davenport and St. Augustine and was an avid Bridge, Euchre and Dominos player.  

Friends are invited to call, following CDC guidelines, Tuesday, December 22nd from 4-7 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Hilton, where his funeral Service will be on Wednesday, December 23rd at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
