Obituary of Christine L. Hess

Hamlin - Christine L. Hess passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at the age of 54. She was predeceased by her father, William Welch. She is survived by her loving husband, Dean; her mother, Susan Welch; her children, Laura (Cal) Hayward and Evan (Julia Kryk) Hess; her sister, Karen (Scott) Bready; her brother-in-law, Mark Hess (Carol); her nieces, Sarah & Becca Bready and Sara (John) Ciulla & Michele Hess; her great niece and nephew, Alex Ciulla & John Ciulla; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Christine was a dedicated 2nd grade teacher in the Rush Henrietta school district. She enjoyed camping, reading and flower & vegetable gardening.

Due to the covid crisis, there will be private family services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for the summer of 2021. Updates will be posted on our funeral home website obituary. 

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 158 East Ave, Hilton, NY 14468, the Walker Fire Department, 1420 Walker Lake Ontario Rd, Hilton, NY 14468, or a cancer research organization of choice, in Christine's memory.
