Obituary of Sheri Ann Yockel

Hilton - Sheri Ann Yockel passed away July 12, 2021 at the age of 43.  She is survived by her parents, Doug & Debra Yockel; her daughter, Lillianna Yockel; her brother, Scott (Erin) Yockel; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Sheri was an employee of Jet Blue of Rochester, and worked for the airline as part of the ground crew.  She loved to dance and participated in the art for 25 years.  In her leisure, she enjoyed doing ceramics with her daughter.  She enjoyed volunteering and participated in the Lake Ontario Shoreline clean-up and clean-up in Frisbee Hill Park.  Sheri will be greatly missed.

Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 4-6 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton, where Sheri's Memorial Service will follow at 6 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 333 Westmoreland Dr, Rochester, NY 14620, online at https://www.rmhc.org/, in Sheri's memory.
