Joe restored the stone walls of my basement and the exterior portions of those walls that rose up above ground level. He also converted the cistern in my basement into a wine cellar, which required a great deal of specialized stone work. He did a wonderful job and I worked together with him on these projects. We became friends and remained friends afterwards, getting together occasionally and talking on the phone quite frequently. If only most people had Joe's level of probity, the world would be a far better place. Joe is sorely missed.

Our condolences to Joe’s family and friends. For those who knew Joe (CW) Mike and I knew him over 43 years. Mike played with Joe as a teenager. Joe introduced my husband to me through my friend Carol. We would talk about living in the lakes. Hammonton Carnival, double dating at the Vineland Drive In. Trying to out run Aliens. Haha! We shared heart brakes and loss of friends. He would talk about running the streets with Chipper Carr, Stephen Franks, Mark and Wayne Higgins. Truck Hooding in Buena Vista. Buddies pulling the whole gang threw the snow. Hanging out in the woods with Butch. We are going to miss his prank calls every week. Saying he was calling from Crystal Vi restaurant to come pick up our order. Pretending he was CDC, asking if we would take a survey? Where we had to pick one of his candidates. Either the Elf on the shelf or Fauci on the couchie?

You will truly be missed! Rest In Peace Joe until we meet again.

Brother, we shared years and years of wonderful times together. All of which I cherish to this day. Problem is, no matter how many years we had together, they are always one year too short. I could never put into words how much I loved you and just what a great and talented brother you where. Your Halloweens, your hunting stories, big foot stories and your “moon rock”, I’m really going to miss those times and conversations the most. Give Jim and Mike a big “HOWDY” for me. Till we meet again, a Rauber goodbye to you, SEEEEEE YA!!!

Joe was kind hearted man one of the best masons his masonry work would leave you in Awe, hie loved fishing and hunting, and Sasquatch, remember the day his Sasquatch costume arrived I came home from work and scared the heck out of me! He loved his kids and his family, Joe loved Halloween we had the best Halloween parties! Rest easy Stone Man heaven now has the best Mason!

I’m so thankful for all of the wonderful memories that we shared. Your hilarious jokes and sayings, your love for music and dancing. You believing that you could cure anything with garlic and shark cartilage. You were one of the best masons around(although I wouldn’t ever have to tell you that, because you already knew that). You always had the best Halloween parties they were the scariest. You loved everyone and loved to laugh, your laugh was infectious. I’m going to miss all of our talks, and I think I may even miss your 3am phone calls to me. I will even miss your Dorito meatballs that you made me, and your Sasquatch stories. I know you’re up in heaven at peace making everyone laugh and smile or talking their ear off. May you Rest In Peace and I will treasure all of my memories with you. I love you my crazy Uncle Joe

Thank You Joe for being such a great next door neighbor. It won't be the same not seeing you drive by and wave in the window. You were always concerned about everyone's health and well being. We will miss your stories and happy go lucky demeanor. You had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. Rest in Peace Joe...we love you and will miss you dearly neighbor. Brother Joe, my youngest brother-in-law! A good person with a good heart! Always sweet to me and funny! Always loved him and always will! He’s family! RIP Joe! You definitely will leave a void here on earth and in each of our hearts! Prayers for you and all of us left behind!
