Obituary of Richard K. David

Brockport - Richard K. David passed away on July 11, 2022 at the age of 66, at Unity Hospital in Rochester NY.  He is survived by his daughter, Cassandra (Ian Goodlander) David; his grandson, Braxton Patrick Richard Goodlander (to be born in Sept); his brothers, Alan (Maureen) David and Bill (Tracee) David; his sisters, Sharon (Rick) Gould, Debbie (Wayne) Schiavone and Kathy (Bob Hess)Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews; great nieces & nephews, Jason & Brian Johncox;  and Cassandra's mother, Cheryl.  He was predeceased by his parents, William and Doris David.

Richard was born in Rochester, N.Y. on April 17, 1956. He graduated from Hilton Central High School in 1974.  From there he went to work.  Rich had several different jobs throughout his life, some of them being Kodak, Matthew & Fields Lumber Company, Hilton School District and lastly, Holley Cold Storage. In his younger years he liked hunting, fishing, camping, and lets not forget, Bingo with his Mother -  bet they’re playing now.  Rich also enjoyed making things from wood and painting them. He just loved the American flag and loved to make them.  He could bake and decorate an awesome cake. He didn’t have much, but he’d give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.  Rich Loved his daughter Cassandra and very much looked forward to his grandson being born.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton, where Richard's Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 pm.
