Condolences
I met Juanita through the horses and right away we became friends. We shared some great adventures! Juanita had a way of staying grounded when things seemed chaotic. I can still hear her laugh when things worried me and she would just "go with the flow". All these years later, I realize that I don't just hold memories of her, but how much love I have for her. She inspired me with her confidence and grace. She is just an amazing, loving, caring soul. I will forever carry her friendship in my heart.
Juanita and I became friends in middle school. We would sometimes spend time at each others houses, and her mother Penny always made me feel welcomed. Sometimes i slept over and Bobby would end up giving me a ride home to North Greece. It was during those days when Juanita introduced me to horses. It was late one beautiful warm summer night after a concert when she showed me how to hop up and ride bareback (which of course she did effortlessly). We rode under the light of a full moon that night. Its one of the coolest memories of my life. I'm so glad we had a chance to reconnect after having lost touch for so many years during adulthood. I will always rememver my old friend Juanita, her smile and her playful spirit.
I remember one weekend i stopped by penny's on my bike i let Juanita and dale take it for a spin i think it was the nest they went to me and bob and penny talked to the wee early morning hours i think they enjoyed the night ride it will be in my memories forever
I have an excellent memory with Juanita. Bob and I were on the way to Penny's house. We passed by a turtle trying to cross the road but Bob didn't stop. It was about a quarter mile from Penny's house so I started back to the turtle. Juanita noticed me and said "what, leaving already?" I explained about the turtle and I was worried it would get run over so,Juanita said, "let's rescue a turtle. It was a pretty good size and not in the best of humor. We decided it was a her. Little by little, we got her out of the road and on her way to wherever. It wasn't until quite a bit later, that I found out Juanita is from the turtle clan.
