Obituary of Darlene J. Wallace

Rochester: Darlene Lemcke Wallace passed away in Savannah, Georgia on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by her parents, Howard and Elsie Lemcke, her brother David Lemcke, and her sister Deborah Almeter. She is survived by her son, Christopher Wallace; her brother, Jim (Marilee Sleeman) Lemcke; her sister, Lise Lemcke-Smith; and her grandchildren, Dustin, James, Cassidy, and Gregory Wallace.

Darlene enjoyed cooking and grilling, particularly fresh fish. She also appreciated Canadian cheese bread and peameal bacon. Shopping, bowling, and listening to county music were some of her favorite pastimes. She will be genuinely missed by her family and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, June 3 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., 735 East Avenue in Hilton, where her Memorial Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Parma Union Cemetery.
