Obituary of Teresa T. Veness

Spencerport - Teresa Toal Veness, nicknamed "Bug", passed away on April 27, 2023 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond; and her daughter, Roxie Serio. She is survived by her son, Randy Veness; her grandchildren, Joseph Raymond Serio and Amanda Serio (James) Campese; her sisters, Geraldine Ingham and Doris Toal; and several nieces and nephews. Teresa was also predeceased by her siblings, Donald "Jack" Toal, Joanne Ingham, Albert Toal Jr., Thomas Toal, Bernard "Bernie" Toal, Elaine "Toots" Marshall, and Pauline "Sis" Klaver; and her sisters-in-law, Elsie MacNaughton, Ruby Welch and Charlotte Elliott.

Teresa was a member of the Catholic Church. She worked at Eastman Kodak, and also enjoyed being a beautician in her own home. In her leisure she enjoyed knitting and watching game shows, Lawrence Welk and Liberace. 

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, May 5th from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton. Teresa's Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 6th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 110 Old Hojack Lane, Hilton, NY 14468. Interment will follow immediately after the Mass in Parma Union Cemetery.
