Obituary of Mary Ann Fischer

Hilton - Mary Ann Fischer passed away on May 26, 2023 at the age of 73.  She was predeceased by her parents, William and Bertha Weiss.  She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Nelson Fischer; her children, Nelson (Debbie) Fischer, Jennifer (Jeff) DeRooy, and Michael (Sarah) Fischer; her 7 grandchildren, Connor, Natasha, Kaitlyn, Christian, Joshua, Emma, and Noah; her sisters, Debby (Dave) Schmerbeck, and Sandra (George) Pfaltzgraf; and her nieces and nephews.

Mary enjoyed being home to raise her family.  They were the light of her life and she did everything with them.  She was a Christian who is now with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  She loved to read the Bible.  Some of Mary's favorite pastimes were flower gardening, baking, creating art, painting ceramics and going shopping.  Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with those she loved, especially her grandchildren, who brought her much joy.  She will be deeply missed.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton.  Mary's Funeral Service will be on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Calvary Chapel Greece, 85 Kuhn Rd, Rochester, NY 14612.  Private Interment in Parma Union Cemetery.
