Obituary of Richard A. Link
Hilton - Richard A. Link passed away on August 9, 2023 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by his parents, Carl and Annella Link, and his brother, Carl Link. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Link; his children, Lorraine (Timothy) Roy, and Lawrence (Jen Fitzgerald) Link; his grandchildren, Molly (Tyler Magro) Roy, and Kathryn Roy; and Michael, Kyle and Rachael Link; his siblings, Edward (Philomena) Link, Paul (Elouise) Link, Joan (Daniel) Fleming; and his nieces and nephews.
Richard was a Veteran of the US National Guard. He retired from Eastman Kodak Co., where he worked as a Chemist. He was a life-long member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. In his younger years he was an avid softball player and umpired for both baseball and softball. He also played a variety of sports. He enjoyed bowling, and once bowled a 299. He also enjoyed fishing with friends, which continued all throughout his life, and playing bridge at the community center. He will be deeply missed.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, August 21, 2023 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton. Richard's Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 110 Old Hojack Lane, Hilton. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
