Obituary of Alonzo E. Jacobs

Spencerport - Alonzo "Lon" Jacobs passed away on December 24, 2023 at the age of 90. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Jeanette; his children, Renee (Doug) Fedeli and Laura (Dennis) O'Donnell; his grandchildren, Hannah (Doug) Heyden and Brian Fedeli; his niece, Gail Jacobs; his cousin, Charles Jacobs; and several other nieces and nephews.  

Lon was a Veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Eastman Kodak Co., where he worked for 32 years as a punch pressman. He was a man of faith and belonged to Trinity Lutheran Church. He worked for the towns of Parma and Ogden. He enjoyed farming and grew and sold pumpkins for forty-years. He also collected antique tractors. He liked to tinker with things and built his own home. He will be deeply missed.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton, where Lon's Funeral Service will be on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 11:00 am. Interment in Parma Union Cemetery.
