Obituary of Carolyn R. Gavigan

Rochester - Carolyn R. Gavigan passed away on January 25, 2024 at the age of 87.  She was predeceased by her husband, Edward "Ronnie", and her brother, Joseph Purvee.  She is survived by her children, Ron (Laurie) Gavigan and Tom (Cheryl) Gavigan; and her grandchildren, Seamus and Rosaleigh.

Carolyn graduated from Brockport High School in 1954.  She worked in assembly and retired from Delco.  She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Leo the Great Church where she sang in the choir.  She enjoyed music, dancing, hockey - especially the Rochester Americans, auto racing and traveling.  She loved to organize get togethers and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends.  She will be deeply missed.

Carol's Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 110 Old Hojack Lane, Hilton, on Saturday, February 3, 2024.  Interment to follow in Parma Union Cemetery.
