Condolences
I was so saddened to hear of Greg’s passing. I will always remember Greg because I was the DJ at his and Kelly’s wedding. He was a down to earth gentleman with many friends. I consider Greg my friend as well as his wonderful wife Kelly. He will be missed.
Kelly and family===So very sorry to hear of Gregs passing. Being in another state it is hard to read of these thing, and can’t be there but want to send you my hugs and prayers
One of Greg’s responsibilities at AMR was to help new employees pick a schedule and a partner after finishing training phases. I like to think he took this responsibility quite seriously as one’s first partner is a huge part of who you will become as an EMT. I remember so clearly the victorious, bubbling excitement and trepidation of that day when they took off my training wheels and sent me out into the world. Greg said to me “here we go, we got Brady MacKay code 50 here. Why don’t you go with Brady here, he’s a good kid.” I like to think he knew what he was doing in sending me both a rock solid partner and life long best friend.
I can’t imagine my experience is unique; Greg did this for hundred of trainees and I imagine many of them have stories like mine. The work he did everyday will echo through the lives of both first responders and community members alike for decades. He was an extraordinarily kind man in a harsh world, and he will be greatly missed.
Sad to hear of Greg's passing. My condolences to Kelly, Andrew, Ryan and the rest of the family.
The Hilton community and Hilton Fire Department lost a valued member. Greg was always kind and gave me guidance when I was a member of the Hilton Fire Department.
