Condolences
My love and prayers are with Barb and the entire family. I have nothing but fond memories since the day we’ve met and are children married. It meant the world to me that Jim and Barb were among the first people to visit me when my mom passed.
Patty and I send our prayers of love and comfort to Jim's beloved Barb and family. I got to know Jim through my late brother Ken at NYSAFC events where Jim was a longtime director and recently 2nd VP. My role in numerous memorial services at State Chiefs Conferences always included spending time with him. It saddens me to realize that our NYSAFC 2025 Memorial Service will include Jim's name among the honorees. My heart aches for Jim's son Michael, one of our career firefighters at North Greece FD. There is some comfort knowing that our brother Jim is free of pain and is in the arms of our Almighty Father in heaven's everlasting happiness. "Well done good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of Thy Lord."

Jim was my explorer advisor for 3 years. Since I joined the post, everything was by the book. If it wasn’t in the bylaws then it wouldn’t fly. Some people may of found that annoying but in reality we all appreciate him for almost single handedly holding us together. When I was appointed as Chief, Jim taught grew me as a leader. He always seemed to take pride in teaching us all new things. He has motivated me to become a better and stronger person with his story’s. Even during his treatment Jim still found the time and strength to support us and that says so much about him. I am beyond grateful to have had Jim in my life. Everyone needs someone like him.
Barb and Family my wife and I are sorry for your loss. I loved working with Jim in the Explorer post. Jim was a leader to us all just look how many explorers went on to firefighting through his teachings. Jim will be missed by many and our thoughts of him will be good ones Jim rest in peace.
Michelle and I are deeply sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you. Al and Michelle Camp

I was so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Jim and I met in EMT class in 1993 and I was lucky to call him my friend since. How I will miss running into him to chat and catch up, as well as working at a ambulance or fire call in and around Hilton. My condolences to his wonderful family who he was so proud of. Rest in eternal peace, Jimmy. You'll be missed by many.
Dear Barb and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
