Obituary of Robert A. Ellis

Brockport: On April 23, 2016 at age 95. Uncle Bob was the last surviving member of his family. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Thelma Ellis; many nephews and nieces, including Sandra (Gerald) Maar; many great-nieces and nephews, including Scott (Debby) Maar, Amy (Andrew) Stoker and Holly (Ted) Sheehan; several great-great-nieces and nephews; and numerous family members locally and around the country; also a loyal friend, David Smizzi. The family extends a special thank you to the 4th Floor Staff at Lakeside Beikirch. All are invited to call Wednesday, April 27th from 1 – 2 PM at Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton, where Bob’s Service will be held at 2:00 PM. Interment will be held in Lakeview Cemetery in Brockport. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to Brockport Free Methodist Church, or Brockport High School Environmental Club (Ellis Nature Trail) in his memory.
