Obituary of John E. Plante

North Chili: John E. Plante peacefully passed away at home on Monday February 15, 2016 after a short illness. John was the beloved son of the late William C. and Catherine C. (Dempsey) Plante. He was preceded in death by his daughter Heather E. Dickey and his brother William C. Plante Jr. John is survived by his sisters, Barbara E. Stack, Catherine C. Lagana and husband, Angelo; his brother, Michael C. Plante and wife Mary Beth; and his grandchildren, Meghan E. Plante, Kailin E. Dickey and Riley E. Dickey. John was a graduate of East Providence High School and attended the University of Rhode Island.
