Obituary of Robert R. Nichols

Greece: November 8, 2016 at the age of 94. Robert was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Nichols. He is survived by his daughter, Judith (Todd) Funk; his grandchildren, Timothy (Kim) Erbe, Christopher Erbe, Gregory (Rebecca) Erbe & Susan (Paul) Foster; his great-grandchildren, Samantha, Steven, Andrew, Christopher, Robert, Nicholas, Alexander & Holly Erbe, Megan Merriman and Evan Foster; his loving companion, Ruth Wysocky; and his several nieces & nephews. Robert was a proud member of the U.S. Navy from 1942 -1945, serving in the Asiatic Pacific Campaign and earning 2 bronze stars. Family and friends are invited to call Monday, November 14th from 11a.m. – 12 noon at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Ave., Hilton, where his Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon. Interment will be held in White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans, 933 University Ave., Rochester, NY 14607.
