I have had the honor and privilege of being his son-in-law, and being a member of this amazing and beautiful family since August of 1979. I have this same honor and privilege to be married to his daughter, Anita/Barbara. We all came together in 1976.
He has been an incredible husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and father-in-law. He and my mother-in-law, Emmeline Ruf, came to this country in 1956. Look at the beautiful family that they have built! The latest addition to our family was added a mere 2 weeks ago, and he was able to meet his great-grandfather.
Bernhard Ruf, like my mother-in-law, will be greatly missed by all who cherished them. They will forever be my Mom and Dad.
