Vel collected antique ink wells and authored two books on the appraisal of ink wells. He was always generous with his time, offering to help family and friends with their many projects.
Many thanks to the staff on the 4th floor of Elderwood of Lakeside at Brockport, Life Time Care Hospice, and Dana Stocum for taking excellent care of Vel during his last few years.
