I only remember Ron from high school. Reading all the kind words and memories about him gives me comfort to realize he was a very kind and generous soul. God, comfort and bless his family and friends. Rest In Peace
Ron & I were friends for close to 50 yrs. He was a kind and caring person and was always good to me. We spent many hours on the phone over the years just reminiscing of times past. We talked about everything and anything and I always hung up with a smile on my face. He always had a joke or two to tell me. Anyone knowing him would know that he had a memory for this type of thing and loved to share it. There was a bunch of us that used to go to "The Pilot House, The Elmgrove Inn and The Spencerport Inn" every weekend and Ron was there always treating others to a drink and a smile. He'd share stories of times he had with the K of C, Fire Department and, of course, St. Jude's Church. I'd scold him for not calling me or picking up his phone for sometimes days or weeks on end, but I was just as guilty of that as he was. I was thinking of him yesterday that I'd best call him and then I found this news on my F/B page. The moral to this is "Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today" as that day may never come especially when we reach this age in our lives. He kept wanting me to come to see him and pick him up so we could go to lunch, but then COVID hit and the rest is common knowledge. I went with him to a Fire Dept. Christmas Party back in 2007 and they gave us a mug that was celebrating the 85 yrs. of the FD. I asked him if he would like to have mine as I knew he didn't have his any longer. His words were "Oh Yes, I surely would. I never thought I'd see that mug again." Now, it sits on my dresser and he will never hold it in his hands. I'm so sorry Ron that I didn't get to bring that to you and that I wasn't able to visit you. I will end this now, but to his Family, I extend to you my Deepest Sympathy. He loved you all very much. I will forever treasure the friendship we had Ron and until we meet again, God Bless You My Friend - xoxo As I look out my side window, I'm giving you a thumbs up Ron. My deepest condolences to the family and friends. Rest in Peace Ron, God rest your soul.
I sat behind Ron all through junior high school and high school. I knew the back of his head well by the time we graduated from Spencerport Schools. In later years we often joked about the still he and i rigged in out=r high school lockers..In our junior year of high school, Ron and I wrote a story abouit the Pincipal having a MOD squad to catch drugs, Ron repeated the story so well that the concept still exists today. At least that what some of the newer students have told me.
Ron was a kind, pious and big hearted man. He was gentle,, considerate and thoughtful.. I never heard him say an unkind word against anyone.
Dear Ron, my heart is broken,. You had been such an inspiration to those of us with illnesses. You never showed fear. You showed us all how to go on with life regardless of any medical issues we faced. And you always put your faith in God and was willing to share that faith in troubled times.
May you rest. in peace, dear friend. I well see you again.
So sorry for your loss. Just saw the arrangement post. So delighted to see the picture review of Ron, remember so many of those stages. Recently found a picture with dad and one of the tractors He always had just one more joke for me in more recent years.
Hugs to you all.

Ron was a kind man. He was always the first one to lend a hand with any event the Knights of Columbus hosted at Saint Jude' s. Whether it was set up, running to the store or clean-up, he always did it with a smile on his face.
He liked everyone. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.

Ron was a member of our Knights Council, also a good friend. He was always there to lend a hand when we needed
to get things done, or just to be supportive. Ron will be missed by all. May he ret in pece.
So sorry for your loss. I worked with Ron at DuPont at the Chemical site. He was a nice, friendly guy. May your happy memories sustain you in your time of grief.
We had a beautiful, bright, sunny, blue-sky day for Ron’s graveside service yesterday. He had a green burial, as he wished. The service was very well done.
