Obituary of David L. Knapp

Brockport - David L. Knapp passed away on April 13, 2022 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Ann. He is survived by his son, Scott (Terry) Knapp; his daughter, Dana (Mark) Zink; and his grandchildren, Jake, Josh and Ryan Knapp and Thomas and Regan Zink.

Dave was a graduate of Brockport High School Class of 1960. He spent his career in car sales working at Mulkin's, Duryea's, Durfee's and Spurr's.  He was a member of the Brockport Lions Club for over 40 years.

If you knew Dave, you knew his true passions: his wife, his kids, his five grandsons (his own basketball team), his extended family and his friends who became his family. He lived his life guided by grace and kindness.

Family and friends may call on Sunday, April 24th from 3 - 6pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home. Inc. 735 East Avenue, Hilton, where Dave’s Memorial Service will be at 10:00 am on Monday, April 25th. Interment will be in the Garland Cemetery, 7743 W. Ridge Rd. Brockport, NY 14420. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd. Fairport, NY 14450 in Dave’s memory
