Obituary of Joyce A. Birr

Hilton - Joyce A. Birr passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by her parents, Bruce and Mary Crosby; and her husband, Fred Birr. She is survived by her sisters, Ginny Norbut and Shirley (Rudy) Ploetz; a brother; and several nieces and nephews. 

Joyce was a Registered Nurse for Rochester Regional Health. She had a passion for working with her horses.

Joyce's Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Her final resting place will be in Springville, New York. Those wishing may make contributions in Joyce's memory to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450.

"The Broken Chain"

We little knew the day, that God would call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, in death, we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you; you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
